Best Moments of the 2014 Emmy Awards

2014 Emmys promo poster

If you sat through all three hours of the Emmy’s last night, you know that most of it felt like a repeat of previous Emmy shows with all the same winners being chosen over again… and let’s not even get into the strange alien-like live music. Here are the funniest and most memorable moments of the night.

Billy Eichner and his “Billy on the Street” bit about the Emmys was cry-worthy hilarious. Pretty much everyone agreed that he should host next year’s awards, and this is why:

Julia Louis-Dreyfus going to the stage for her Emmy acceptance speech and Bryan Cranston running up to her and making out with her for a good while. That ‘stache certainly seems to be bringing out his animalistic side.

The shock on Kathy Bates’ face when she realized that she had won an Emmy for her portrayal of Madame Delphine LaLaurie on American Horror Story was the greatest, as was her acceptance speech.

Weird Al Yancovic’s song about the nominated shows of the night was especially awesome when it got to the Game of Thrones bit.

Stephen Colbert’s final Emmy win and acceptance speech was also pretty fantastic. Also, Gwen Stefani called his show “The Colbor Report,” so John Travolta can finally relax for a little while.
